It's Time to Create Your Own PLN!

There are so many ways to create your own PLN! You just have to find out what exactly works best for you!

  • Do you like visuals? Then Pinterest or Tumblr are great tools to try!

  • How about social media? Twitter is a great way to quickly stay informed!

  • Do you like to provide feedback and communication with others? Then blogs are right for you!

Take a moment to read through the following articles on PLNs. It provides you great ideas on creating your PLN and some ways to get started!

Edmodo

With Woodbridge, a great in school resource to use could be Edmodo! Guess what? It isn't just for the students!

Above are the groups that I am currently involved with on Edmodo. I also have posted a snip of the different communities I connect with on Edmodo. Because I am connected with different communities, I can access different lesson plans and ideas from teachers of all age groups, subject areas, and locations! Edmodo is a great place to get started with your PLN because it is a resource we use with our students on a daily basis!

Pinterest

Another great site that is easy to use in our school is Pinterest! Several of our teachers already use Pinterest daily and if you haven't started making education connections on Pinterest, it's a great time to start!

Pinterest allows you to search for materials by topic and it pops up with visual pictures. Once you click on the pictures that interest you, it takes you to the link to gain more information about the topic!

Twitter

Woodbridge also has our own Twitter account! You can keep up to date with Woodbridge events, pictures, and inspirations by following the handle @WoodbridgeES
